Understand the Canvas Interface
Learn the main areas of the ViraFlow canvas and what each area is for.
What you see first
The ViraFlow canvas has a few working areas. You do not need to learn every button before you start. Learn where the main actions live, then create your first nodes.
Top project bar
The top project bar helps you manage the current project.
Use it to:
- go back to AI Video Studio
- view or rename the project
- check remaining credits
- open billing if you need more credits
- change language
Click the project name when you want to rename it.
Left toolbar
The left toolbar is where most canvas work starts.
Use it to:
- click
+and add aText,Image,Video,Script, orVideo Composernode - open
Presetsfor saved workflow layouts - open
Assetsfor reusable media - open
Recent Resultsfor generated media from this project - open
Shortcutswith the question mark icon - click
Saveafter an important change
Main canvas
The main canvas is the dotted workspace in the center.
This is where your nodes live. Place related nodes close together, connect work that belongs in the same flow, and leave enough space between different ideas.
You can:
- drag nodes to arrange them
- connect nodes to show what should influence the next result
- right-click an empty area to add a node at that spot
- right-click a node to copy it, save media to assets, or use node actions
- click an empty area to clear the current selection
Editor panels
When you select a node, ViraFlow shows the controls that match that node.
For example:
- select a Text node to write or generate text
- select a Script node to work on scenes and shots
- select an Image node to generate, edit, upscale, expand, or remove a background
- select a Video node to generate, trim, create frames, or continue editing
The panel changes because each node type has different jobs.
Side panels
Presets, Assets, and Recent Results open as side panels from the left
toolbar.
Use these panels when you want to reuse material:
Presetsbrings a saved workflow layout back to the canvas.Assetsbrings saved images, videos, or other reusable media into the current project.Recent Resultslets you pick generated media from this project and insert it again.
View controls
The bottom-right controls help you move around the canvas.
Use them to:
- undo the latest canvas change
- arrange the canvas
- show or hide the minimap
- fit the canvas into view
- zoom in or out
Minimap
Turn on the minimap when the canvas becomes large.
The minimap shows where your current view sits inside the full project. Use it to jump back to an important group of nodes without scrolling around blindly.
