Repaint and Erase

Change or remove a selected area of an image without rebuilding the whole frame.

What these tools do

Repaint changes a selected area. Erase removes a selected area. Both tools are for local edits when most of the image already works.

When to use repaint

Use repaint when:

  • one object should become something else
  • a product color should change
  • a small prop needs to be replaced
  • part of the background needs a new detail

When to use erase

Use erase when:

  • an unwanted object appears
  • a small defect distracts from the subject
  • text or marks should be removed
  • the frame needs cleanup before video generation

Edit a selected area

  1. Select an Image node.
  2. Choose Repaint or Erase.
  3. Mark the area with the brush, rectangle, or mask controls.
  4. For repaint, describe what should appear in that area.
  5. Generate the edit.
  6. Compare the result with the original.

Keep the edit small

Small edits are easier to control. If half the image needs to change, generate a new image instead.
