Repaint and Erase
Change or remove a selected area of an image without rebuilding the whole frame.
What these tools do
Repaint changes a selected area. Erase removes a selected area. Both tools are for local edits when most of the image already works.
When to use repaint
Use repaint when:
- one object should become something else
- a product color should change
- a small prop needs to be replaced
- part of the background needs a new detail
When to use erase
Use erase when:
- an unwanted object appears
- a small defect distracts from the subject
- text or marks should be removed
- the frame needs cleanup before video generation
Edit a selected area
- Select an Image node.
- Choose
RepaintorErase. - Mark the area with the brush, rectangle, or mask controls.
- For repaint, describe what should appear in that area.
- Generate the edit.
- Compare the result with the original.
Keep the edit small
Small edits are easier to control. If half the image needs to change, generate a new image instead.
