Choose an Image Model
Pick an image model for generation, editing, upscale, or reference-based image work.
What an image model does
An image model creates or edits images.
Use it for text-to-image, image-to-image, multi-image reference generation, image edits, upscale, background removal, 360 images, and multi-angle outputs.
Choose by task
Use the task first, not the model name.
Common choices:
- use normal image generation for a new scene or product image
- use image reference generation when an existing image should guide the result
- use background removal when the subject is useful but the background is not
- use upscale when the image is good but too small
- use 360 or multi-angle only when the output needs that exact structure
Do one comparison
If you are unsure, create two Image nodes with the same prompt and different models.
Keep the better result and delete weak tests before the canvas gets crowded.
