References and Connections
Use connected text, image, and video nodes as generation references.
What references are
References are existing nodes that help guide the next generation.
A connected Text node can provide direction. A connected Image node can provide a subject, style, first frame, or visual reference. A connected Video node can provide motion or source material when the current tool supports it.
Use the right reference
Use references when:
- the character should stay similar
- a product must remain recognizable
- a video should start from a specific image
- a script row should create a matching storyboard image
Do not connect every available node. Too many references can confuse the output.
Check reference limits
Some models can only use a limited number of image or video references.
If ViraFlow shows a reference limit message, remove extra references or use a model that supports the current setup.
