Use an image reference as the first visual anchor for a generated clip.
What image to video does
Image to video uses an image as the visual starting point for a clip. It is the best first video workflow when a subject, product, character, or scene needs to stay recognizable.
Prepare the image
Before generating, check:
- the main subject is clear
- the frame has enough space
- the style is already close to what you want
- the image does not contain distracting defects
Fix the image first if needed.
Generate the clip
- Place an Image node on the canvas.
- Add or select a Video node.
- Connect the Image node to the Video node.
- Write a short motion prompt.
- Choose visible settings.
- Click
Generate. - Preview the result.
What to adjust
If the subject changes too much, use a clearer image. If the motion is wrong, make the prompt shorter and more direct.
