Expand Image
Add space around an image while keeping the original visual direction.
What expand does
Expand creates a larger frame around an existing image. It is useful when the subject is too close to the edge or the final format needs more space.
When to use it
Use expand when:
- the image is too tight
- a vertical image needs more background
- a product needs breathing room
- a video frame needs safer composition
- you need another aspect ratio
Expand an image
- Select an Image node.
- Choose
Expand. - Set the expand frame or ratio.
- Add a short prompt if the new area needs direction.
- Generate the expanded image.
- Compare it with the original.
What to check
The added area should match the original style. Watch for warped objects, strange shadows, or mismatched backgrounds.
