Nodes

Image Node

Use Image nodes for uploaded images, generated images, references, and image edits.

What an Image node is

An Image node holds one image or a set of generated image variants. It can be an upload, an asset, a generated image, a storyboard frame, or a reference image.

What you can do

With an Image node, you can:

  • upload an image
  • choose an image from Assets
  • generate an image from a prompt
  • use connected text or image references
  • crop, rotate, flip, upscale, expand, repaint, erase, or remove background
  • create a video from the image
  • save useful images to My Assets

Use an Image node

  1. Add an Image node.
  2. Upload an image, choose an asset, or write a prompt.
  3. Choose the model and visible settings.
  4. Click Generate when the input is ready.
  5. Review the result before using it for video.

Use image variants

If a node contains several generated images, pick the strongest one as the main image. Expand variants only when you need to compare them.

Next step

Turn an image into motion with Video Node or Generate a Video From an Image.
