What a Video Composer node is

A Video Composer node combines finished video clips. It is useful after you have several short clips and want to preview them in one sequence.

When to use it

Use Video Composer when:

• several clips already look usable
• the order is clear
• you want one exported video
• you need simple trimming, splitting, or timeline movement

Do not use it too early. Replace weak clips before you combine them.

Build a composition

1. Add a Video Composer node.
2. Connect completed Video nodes, or upload local videos into the composer.
3. Preview the sequence.
4. Split or trim clips if needed.
5. Move clips until the order feels right.
6. Export the result.

Keep exports short

Video Composer is marked beta. Use fewer clips and shorter videos when an export fails. Avoid refreshing the page while exporting.
