Extract Frames
Turn a video clip into still image references or storyboard frames.
What frame extraction does
Frame extraction captures still images from a video. Use it when a moment in a clip should become a reference image, storyboard frame, or first frame for another video.
When to use it
Use frames when:
- a video contains a useful pose or product angle
- you want storyboard stills from a clip
- a video moment should become an Image node
- you want to continue from a specific frame
Extract frames
- Select a Video node.
- Choose
Frames. - Pick the frame count or timing if shown.
- Create the storyboard frames.
- Review the created Image nodes.
Frame extraction works best on shorter videos. If the source is too long, trim it first.
Storyboard frames are available for videos up to 10 minutes. If the source is longer, trim a shorter section first.
