Save and Reuse a Workflow

What this workflow does

Workflow presets let you reuse a useful group of nodes. Use them when a layout will be helpful in future projects.

When to save a workflow

Save a workflow when:

• it has a clear repeated purpose
• the node order is easy to understand
• it can be reused without too much cleanup
• it saves setup time in future projects

Save a preset

1. Select the nodes that belong together.
2. Check that the layout is readable.
3. Choose Save as Preset.
4. Give it a clear name.
5. Reopen it from Presets in another project.

What not to save

Do not save messy experiments. A preset should be a clean starting point, not a dump of every test.
